I have just bought this 2001. The current graphics are super naff so they are coming off. I am putting a FCT style tower on it. Should I leave it naked or put Nautique down the side like this 07 206?

personally, I like 2001s with no graphics. But that is just me. I like simple things.

I would not put or take off any stickers. I like the way it looks right now. Retro!

I think it would look good if you could get someone to print the new ski nautique graphics that said AIR instead of ski.

I would yank them and put on the the original 2001 Ski Nautique graphics. See my profile.

I think you may find some people with the patterns at CorrectCraftFan.com or The2001.com .

Good choice on the FCT. I have a New Dimension and love it. I think every other tower on these boats look crappy.

Also, consider an all stainless TowerBimini for the bimini top. It is rock solid and looks awesome with this type of tower.

If you wish, I may be able to get you some pics of my setup. The profile pic is before I made any mods. By the way I have a few other tricks for the boat too if your interested.

What year is that?

Dave Williams...why does Nautique show up as a misspelled word? I still need your address for the donation.

If I do put anything back on it wil be either just "Nautique" in the 2007 writing or nothing at all I think. I depends on the cost I guess, it doesn't make sense to spend 7.5k on the boat and 1k on the decals! Thanks Derby, I'll send you an email.

No stickers! Just the stripes. Sucks to have the word "Ski" on a wakeboarding boat.

This one maybe. Loose the jet ski obviously. Maybe just this decal on the stern.

Make it butt a$$ naked. I am removing the decals on my 2001 right now. Its a fair amount of work, and if you dont do it right you can mess up your gel coat. I messed mine up a little with scratches but i figured out how to prevent scratches.

When I used the razor to remove the decals i bent the outside tips up so they would not dig into the gelcoat, also I used hockey tape ((its a cloth material)) to cover the tips. It has worked really well and prevented me from making any more scratches. Also make sure that you have a hair dryer or some sort of heat source to warm up the decals.
