We just received two Pro X Series Side Sacs for christmas. I was wondering if I could put one of the sacs across the open bow of our Mastercraft X-2(X-1). We do not have a bow filler cushion and I am a little worried about the bag sagging in the middle, then breaking.Thanx for your time.

The bag won't break, but it will fill awkwardly and slosh around. Stick it all the way foward in the walkway.

I don't think that you will have to worry about the bag breaking because they are made our of the same material that white-water rafts are made out of. I would be more afraid of it sagging too much and falling towards the back of the boat when your getting out of the hole!

One more quick question, if I again place the bag across the bow, over the walk way, and fill the bag all the way, will the bag sag in the middle, where the walk way is?

Yes.

Just put the bag on the floor and snug it up to the front of the bow. The weight will be just a little bit back, but the bag will be snug between the seats. You dont want a bag rolling around on a hole shot.

be sure not to place too much pressure on the boat. over filling the bag could cause problems with oversized bags in the bow
