Almost god knocked out today

So Im out today with some new people in the boat so I thought I would try and take my jumps a little bigger. My first jump I come in pretty fast right before I hit the wake I hit a little ruff water and throws me off as I hit the wake...I twist around in the air and come down right on my back and get the biggest whiplash of my life. I felt like I passed out for a split second then every thing got really dizzy....felt like I wanted to throw up. I just layed there the cold water felt good on my head cause I got an instant headache. I got back in the boat with the wind knocked out of me and a small concusion I think. That was the wrose fall I have had all season. Going to go jump in the hot tub right now.

Get the helmet on!!

Take 4 advil and get a lot of sleep. Your neck is going to hurt tomorrow. You proably did get whiplash so take it easy for a few days and all will be normal.

Are you going to Powell?

I feel your pain. Took a major face plant yesterday and feel like &^%$ today. Each time I move my head I feel like I'm going to puke. Hopefully we will all feel better in a few days.

Dan,

Know how you feel. I have done that a couple times. I hate catching the heel edge. Jacked up my neck/upper back a couple times. My left arm was on fire from the last one (kind of like hitting your funny bone, but this was my entire arm.) Still have a small part of the tip of one finger that has no feeling. That was from 3 months ago. I would rather take a faceplant. At least I don't get whiplash from those. Well, I guess that is how I tore my abs though. Maybe I should just quit falling!

Sounds to me like a concussion. Sucks and once you have one they come easier. Be carefull.

That happened to me yesterday. I was doing a TS 180 and over rotated it and caught my back edge

Lol atleast I know I am in good company, ruined my whole day yeasterday...I tried to get out there again later but I hurt so bad I was afraid to do anythng.

Yeah I got hurt on Sunday too I was just going w2w and I got twisted around as soon as I took off the wake, I let go of the rope and fell into the water onto my shoulder, when I hit my shoulder I couldn't move my right arm for a about a minute then it went numb then tingled and now it just hurts like a mother.

I wear a helmet, but only bc it has ear flaps. Had my eardrum rupture a couple of times and it was ^&^#@$! painful. Ride on!
