I spent all day saturday in the ER with a bad concussion and a sprained neck, luckily I don't remember most of it! I was trying raley's again and came up a couple inches short and face planted so hard my body rotated around my neck, think folding my neck backwards until it hit my back. Anyways, I think it will be a couple weeks before I try again, but it just ticks me off because I was getting so close. Any ideas, and does this injury/crash happen often or was this pretty much just a freak accident? Thanks!

Those are the hardest crashes I've experienced, and sadly... They happen from time to time, even after you land several. But, don't let that intimidate you... The raley is an easy trick (once you learn it), and is a lot of fun to throw.

My suggestion would be to practice on the wakeskate, until you can repeatedly land in a seated pike position. Once I was able to do that, it was just a couple more attempts and I landed it.

Good luck.
