A while back there was a thread about that kiteboarding thing that you used while being pulled by the boat. I was just wondering if its out yet. I havent heard much about it.

Never made it to market. It was incredibly dangerous and that was all she wrote. Almost as good an idea as the tower spoilers from a few years back, why that didn't catch on is beside me...

Are you talking about the "Wego kite tube"?A

It's about $500. I saw video's. Looks great, but hard to control.

I did a search and found this

"A wakekite consists of an inflatable water kite, tow lines and a steering handle. Meant for use behind the boat, and far surpassing what a boat tower offers, a wakekite creates strong upward line lift and smooth, reduced-gravity landings for wakeboarding, waterskiing, kneeboarding and more." wow!

Looks crazy, lots of rope to get wrapped and decapped with. I think I will pass on this one as well. Looks like you can really get some air tho.

lol thats funny.. On November 2, 2000 i applied for a provisional patent application for a: Devise and method of increasing lift in wakeboarding, filed May 5 2000. My idea was almost the exact same as the picture included above. IF the current inventor wants to contact me for my ideas to impove control, feel free... It would be fun to compare ideas..
