Boat Ran Aground Answer

The dealership told me I have a very slightly bent strut. What I couldn't believe is that they told me I could fix it or just let it go and I shouldn't have a problem with it for a couple years. I would just have to deal with the vibration and eventually it might damage the shaft.

Needless to say, I'm picking up my boat today and taking it somewhere else for repair.

Thats surprising coming from them.....they've always done good work for me. But like I said all major repairs I take elsewhere. I think the average age of their mechanics staff is 19 y/o. Not that a 19 y/o isn't perfectly capable of fixign any problem...on something like this experience helps.

I bent my strut last week. I didn't even bother to put it in the water to test and see for a vibration. You don't just "deal" with 2k worth of damage to your running gear.
