It's almost done after three years! No more folding the tower and removing the swim step.

Nicely done!

You going to pour the concrete yourself? Do you have experience with this kind of work, or just read up on it, or what?

Very cool!

You may already know this but in case you don't...I suggest chairing the welded wire fabric up so it sits at the centerline of your slab...wire at the bottom isn't going to do anything to control your concrete cracks. Hope this helps.

Nice.

John, where did you get that black gate framework?

I could use something like that.

I am not doing the concrete myself. A friend of mine is doing it. We still need to put the adobe(SP) under the rebar to raise it up. GD, here is the web site for the guys who did my fence. It has a 12' opening so I went with the steel frame. www.allamericanfencecorp.com

John, the new city of Brentwood RV/boat storage enforcement motivate you to get side access done?

I did in part because of the Brentwood enforcement. I use to keep it in my driveway in the summer so I didn't have to put the tower up and down and get some neighbors to help push it in the garage. It'll be in the garage in the winter months.

Looks great. I have never had a house with usable side access, I'm jealous.

Are you going to put up some kind of awning to keep it out of the sun? Looks good.

I am looking into getting one of the steel framed awning with the sheet metal roof. We get strong winds and I have seen my neighbors vinyl awning/carports get torn apart.
Thanks!
