Counterfeit this or Butter effect

My younger cousin is getting into wakeboarding and is 12 years old. I was wondering what movie he would like better. I haven't seen either so i also want to make sure the music is appropriate.

Both are really good. I don't think either has any really offensive music. It really depends on your definition of appropriate.

Both excellent vid's, Butter effect gets the edge IMO, only one song, Lyman's section is a little gangsta but not bad.

BUTTER EFFECT!!!!!!!! Counterfeit This was good. But Rusty, Greenwood and Lymans sessions in Butter are unreal!

A bit tired of seeing Radar lake in every video and photo lately.

Butter Effect is diverse and has much more progressive wake riding.

Look for some vids the the Valdez kids are in, since there in the same age range, hed probably be stoked on that or Froggy (Phillp) when he was younger...

Both of the videos are really good, however.

Lyman's section in Butter Effect has Cypress Hill - "Another Body Drops," but it's really not that bad. Marilyn Manson in Counterfeit This but he's just covering Tainted Love (I think?).

All in all, the music in Butter Effect is GREAT. Not the biggest fan of all the music in Counterfeit This, but a variety of the songs appeal to all different spectrums. I really like Gorillaz - Feel Good Inc in Counterfeit This, and Funky Town in Ruck's section. I'm not a huge fan of classic rock in wake vids though.

Murray's section to the Who was awesome, as was Parks' section to Fat Bottom Girls.

I don't think either is inappropriate, but there is more variety of riders in Butter Effect. Get both, there pretty cheap!

I just got Butter Effect and I love it. the riding is great, music is good too, and the rail gap is sweet. plus you get to see napolean dynamite rip it up.

I asked my 7yr old because he likes both, and he said "Counterfeit This" becasue the music rocks. Look into "Such As Life" too, good for young ones, plus some added stuff that is like having a buy one get one free feel to it.

Hyperlite's vid really stepped up. Especially harf's, murray's, and george daniel's part.

Such is Life is great, it's a more mature film. Well, I'm not sure if mature is a good word for it, it's just got alot more cinematography in it. There is a really hard, death metal song in it though, I skip that section every time, lol. I think I've watched it maybe once or twice, but I've watched the rest of the dvd tons of times.

Both are good. Sean Kilgus (BFY Productions) started with us and we would love to see you support him. The Butter Effect gets my vote...great vid. And Brent Starr is in it (Bakes team rider). What more do you need...haha.

Butter Effect, my fav. section is Lyman's-so big it's disgusting. How about his batwing to bs 180. My ts bs 180's are inconsistent without a grab, a very motivating video.

WOW this is awesome.... first time everyone seems to be on the same boat that both videos are just great! Whoever had the coin flip idea was on the money. However, if this thread doesn't prove you need both then good luck deciding!

P.S., I've seen BE so many times it's almost old now but it still gets my vote. Lyman kills it! His late grabbed KGB is sick.
