Whacky NorCal weather

From the 80 degrees observed around Lake Anderson on Feb 8th, we're down to like 45 today. That's a 35 degree difference! However, we're still not too far off the average temp for February, which is 64 degrees.

* The highest recorded temperature was 115°F in 1972.
* The lowest recorded temperature was 17°F in 1990.

Wow!

Very strange weather. Hopefully this will be the last of winter conditions. I'm ready for steady warm weather!

I'm in the Sierra foothills at about 1900 Ft.
We woke up to 1/2 inch of snow on the ground this morning.
Naturally, some of the flowers in the garden bloomed last week.

It was in the mid 50's out here in the NW chicago burbs on wednesday, now on saturday its below 0!!

i left disco bay yesterday mornin to come down here to LA thinkin i would find better weather. well it rained all the way down. it snowed goin over the grapevine. and it has rained almost the entire time here. bring the summer darnit
