I am in the market for a boat and can definately not afford a good wakeboard boat so I am looking at old ski boats to turn into a good wakeboard boat for under $10,000, its come down between a 2001 or supra (i have found a few sunsports, saltares, and mariahs) they seem to to the best from what I know and have learned, and I was just wodnering if anyone could help me with which way i should go.

thanks

Go with the nautique... the quality and craftmanship of the boat is excellent!

Deffinately the Nautique. I love mine to death. Put some weight in it and the wake will be great. There's like a million threads on the Nautique 2001's. Do a search for them and you'll find that people who own them really like them.

I love my 86 2001 BUT if room is going to be an issue at some point take a look at one of the other choices and see if the wake is good enough.I love my naut. but a little more room wouldnt hurt....

2001's are TINY. If you can find a Sunsport, Saltare, Mariah, Beast or Rider, the hulls are all similar and they have tons of room. I'd put their wake up against a 2001 any day, too.
