We're auctioning off one of the first production 2005 Cassette Bi-Level wakeskates. Bidding starts at just $1. Check out all the details at http://www.wakeworld.com/contests/2004/cassette.asp.

With my luck I'd get my sack caught between the decks.. I'll refrain from bidding.

Well...I think it looks twice as awesome! YES!!! hahaha, seriously though, I'm hyped on it. But I won't be bidding because I have one on order through my snowboard shop.

I would think it would be twice as heavy, and water spray could flow inbetween the boards and create drag and downward forces making the board harder to ride.

I think it's about time they finally developed this. Snowskates have been like this for years. I'm surprised they didn't do this sooner.

"water spray could flow inbetween the boards and create drag "

I don't think so. The lower deck is your surface board, just like the one you ride now. Water doesn't flow across the top of your current wakeskate does it?

GIMMICK JOKES ARE SO OUT!

Of course some water goes across the top of the board. When you come off of a slider do you think the entire board stays out of the water ? We'll see though, but it would be fun to demo this.

i aggree, why would anyone make jokes about something as overused as gimmicks

We rode one during Surf Expo. The Bi Level is sick and rides very consistent. If a bunch of staffers can rip on one who knows how real wakeskaters will do on it.

I love the fact some people will interpret something new as a “gimmick” when they have had no first hand experience with a product.

Does anyone know if this board will fit in the "normal" wakeboard racks?

Thanks, but I'll keep my ripping new Integrity skate. Big ups Erich.
