Like Joystick Pylon?

This is from our boat, had it about 7-8 years now, works well, no complaints here.

They work great for the price. The only complaint I have is that the skylons main anchor is in the middle of the boats floor board. The four cables are just there to keep the skylon in place. If you take an aggresive edge away from the boat, or take a hard edge from the flats to the wake. It can tend to lean the boat to the side you are pulling. Thus in return causes the wake to shift and wash out a little. A towers anchors are both sides of the boat front and back. This seams to help with the boat staying stable and not leaning as much w/an aggressive edge. It all comes down to budget. If you have the extra money I would lean towards a tower. Not slamming the skylon at all though. The first 3 years I rode its all we had and it worked great. Oh yeah, all the ladies that had been in that boat loved to use it as a dancing pole. A plus you won't get with a tower.
