I;m going to a wakeboard Comp. on July 14th to Beaumont, the only problem is I have never ridden behind anything but an outboard. If somebody that lives near me could hook me up with a few pulls it would be greatly appreciated. I live in Henderson Texas, near Longview and Tyler. Does anybody live within about 1 and a half hours from me that has a wakeboard boat that wouldn't mind me tagging along. I'll chip in for gas. Thanks ahead of time.

If you can make it to Conroe I'd be happy to give you a pull. Depending when you could even crash for the night if needed.

Thanks for the offer. That is 3 hours away. But it is the closest i've gotten so far. What days are you talking about going to the lake?

Brandon, try the "Find a third/be a third" thread. You might have better luck. Just a thought.

Yes, I am planning on making the trip. Should be a cool thing for me, I have never been on anything close to a wakeboard boat. I think i'm going to flip when I see how big the wake it. Either way it should be a great experience. Has anyone ever went from a non-wakeboarding boat that they have rode for a few years to a wakeboard boat. What's it feel like? I am soo siked!!
