So I'm in the gym today listening to my ipod through my blown ipod headphones, and I start thinking about some of the priorities i've had in life. Most of them made me laugh, so I figured i'd share them and hope to see other people share theirs as well. I'll pay $30 for a new wakeboard dvd, but not for new ipod headphones. I won't spend $100 dollars on a cheap tv, but i'll pay $1000 for an lcd. I'll pay $120 to see Jerry Seinfeld at Caesar's Palace, but I wouldn't pay $20 to go see any Cirque du Soleil show. I will pay $300 for an ipod, but I won't buy a cd for $20. I will pay $400 for a new wakeboard, but not more than $20 for a new tennis racquet. I will pay $400 dollars for new bindings, but my soccer shoes from high school still do the trick. I will spend $400 on a new camera, but I wouldn't buy a picture frame if my life depended on it. I will spend $45 on reef sandals every summer, but hate to buy just "casual" shoes. I will spend $8 on a bud or bud light on the strip, but I would never drink a miller product (unless it was free). I will spend $100 on a new life jacket from buywake.com, but won't pay more than $10 for anything from ebay. I will spend $50 on new boardshorts, but lets see how long my underwear will last (just kidding ladies...haha). I will spend $20 dollars on pizza, I wouldn't spend 20 cents on sushi. I will buy an energy drink for $3, I choose the water fountain over the bottle. I cut my own hair and spend the $15 on beer. I will spend $600 to go snowboarding in Colorado, but i'd rather walk than take a taxi. I will spend $8 for Chipotle, but if you're going to wendy's no thanks. I have spent who knows how many hours reading Wakeboard magazine for the past ?10? years, but have probably only read about 10 or so books since then (okay, maybe more than 10 but you get the idea). I will freak out if the inside or outside of my car is dirty, but it took me 3 months to buy a vacuum for my apartment. I will wakeboard anywhere, anytime, with anybody, at any notice, for any reason, behind any boat, in any weather, in any bodily state, on any board, and at any age, but I will always stop wakeboarding long enough to teach anyone who wants to learn to wakeboard how. Well I hope I wasted enough of you time. As Kip from Napoleon Dynamite would say, "Peace out."
