We're headed out on the Delta on Saturday and we were wondering of a place to grab a good breakfast out on the water, outside of Wimpys (walnut grove) and Bobs (stockton). Any recommendations, we're launching out stockton...

Actually,I was going to say....stay away from Orwood,I never had good breakfast there plus is a little pricey.

Union point has good food but not sure about the breakfast.

I think Union Point has a buffet breakfast, Ive heard its pretty good but never been there either.

At Orwood, if you dont like the food at least you can sit on the deck and be entertained watching the boats launch.

Orwood is good, just really greasy. The breakfast burrito is pretty good.

I keep it simple. 2 scrambled with cottage cheese and fruit....and maybe coors light.

If you are launching at Stockton and heading west then Windmill Cove would be a good spot. Turner Cut can also be fairly reasonable.

We will be at Orwoods for breakfast at 8:00 Saturday with about 7 boats and 25 to 35 people. Should be pretty entertaining! Can't wait for the lin-grease-a and scrambled eggs.

Walt,
There's another one in Brentwood that is as good or better than Oakley. It's at Hwy 4 (Brentwood Blvd) and Oak St. I had lunch there today with my wife.

Herman and Helens has a cafe on the water. You can eat while looking at your boat. Food is pretty good.
