they showed those things on Ripleys believe it or not a couple of days ago... saying it was the bigging of the jetski. They showed like 5 of them racing around a course in the water, and 2 guys crashed on the 2nd turn. Seemed like they turned like butt. The guys that crashed were hanging all the way over the side trying to get it to dig in.... and they just went straight into the beach.

as much as i hate jetskis and don't own one, they do have a purpose, pulling wakeboarders on sliders!

My dad made one of these things "back in the day" as he put it. His was just plywood as the skim board and then a simple transome structure to hold to outboard, he said on calm water he could feel it start to lift off of the water (and thats with a 15 hp johnson...)

I've seen those Will people seem to have a hard time using them, I've never seen one go over 5 mph, it'd be cool to see going 17 though.
