How freakin adorable!!!! How old is that precious lil thang in the first pic... She is soooo tiny, comparing the size of the handle to her body?!?!?! ![](http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/clipart/smile.gif) How sweet!

The little girl in the first pic is almost 4. She was awesome, doing surface 180s and generally hamming it up. It was cool how they started her off...the boat would go real slow, her dad scooted her board off the swim platform and onto the water, and then slowly let line out and the driver sped the boat up until desired speed/full line was achieved. Very cool.

George, it was good to meet you in person. I find it hard to associate wakeworld posts with real people at times. Congrats again to Phillip (sp?) for winning the Outlaw class, he was throwing down yesterday.

i apologize for offending anyone in advance, not rippin' on anyone at all, but that sounds more dangerous than cool. whatever works, i guess. (Message edited by dakid on September 11, 2006)

Joe, I was using a Canon 30D with the 70-200 f/4. Half of each run had the sun in the background most of the day, but I was still happy with the way most pics turned out. In regards to the way he put her in, he did it off the side of the swim platform, and we were going about 6 mph to start, and 12 at max, so nothing felt unsafe at all. I will say that their whole family is always on the water (grandpa wakeskates, grandma slaloms, dad rides outlaw, etc. etc.) so they know what they are doing, but your point is well taken that it might not be a good idea for some newbie to try.
