I just baught a home down there and I do not know anything about the lake. Is the lake open for boarding year round? How are the conditions? Any private spaces like San V? Are PWC allowed ? Any information would be helpful. The web sites and phone recoarding haven't been too much help.

Brian,

From what I have been told, there is no water contact at Otay. The ranger at San V told me there is "talk" about opening lower Otay when San V closes in a couple years. As for now, I am 99% sure you can't board there.

Congrats on the new home!

Definetly no water contact at Otay as Buzz mentioned, but I like the idea of it opening for water contact when san V does close. That makes a even long drive even longer though. O well, gotta do what ya gotta do.

BTW. Rothchild.. nice profile pic. Hopefully thats not one of you students, o wait maybe it is..lol J/K
