who's ready to give up on LF Watson bindings?

Been waiting for these forever. The weather is starting to come around, but very slowly. In a couple of weeks I'll be really itching to go; but still no boots.

Where are they?

When will we see them?

do you not have a pair of bindings? if you have a pair, i suggest you put them on your board...that way, you can still ride while you wait for the watsons.

sold my bindings on ebay. thought the watsons would be here by

I got the Watson board, and still waiting for the boots.. I´m using my girlfriend Transits.. but they are killing my feet. 10 minutes and i´m done.

Any suggestion on a replacement ??

I too have already paid for mine. That way it will feel like Christmas. Wait a minute, they were a christmas present. Hope they don't show up next DEcemeber.

i've heard that the mounting plates were not strong enough and they had to be redesigned.

it is a bit frusterating waiting on these boots to finally arrive...at least i havent put any money down on them but ive been waiting to demo them forever now...seems like now that all these bindings are being manufactured overseas there are more problems then there used to be..

ive heard of several problems with the cwb zeus having two different size bindings come int he same box and one occasion where the wrong size overlays are put on baseplates meant for other sizes.Ive also seen a drop in quality ,bindings break easier then they used too and while they are under warranty its a huge inconvenience...

thats what they get for cheaper labor and manufacturing process's...

and the shipping time coming from overseas isnt an advantyage either..

oh while im on the soapbox it hasnt seeme dto lower prices for the consumer(wakeboarders) ,having stuff made over there as well..

I think that with the more bells and whistles the bindings have these days, it seems like they break more often.

Leo, not to worry the Zeus' have been holding up incredibly! Last I spoke with the So-cal rep there hadn't been any issues with the Hinge at all.

well, got to tell you, a pair of Liquid Force bindings, received in June, are better than any other binding, received in February. i'm confident that i'll see mine in a week or two. I'm bored, and i want to run around in my new bindings. They'll be here soon enough.

I'll wait. I've heard on good authority they'll be worth every second I've missed of riding. Besides, what good riding happens before May anyway??

I was in Cope's - Santa Clara yesterday and they have the boots, just not the plates. I guess there has been some quality control issue, but it is soon to be resolved.

Just called my local board shop yesterday and they said they were expecting them with in a week...or two (we shall see). I really wan to buy the whole watson package, but in total it would be like $680, for a broke college student thats a lot of $$$. My b-day is coming up though so maybe I could get my folks to throw down on the bindings (crossing my fingers)!!!

i live in australia and i have had my watsons since the end of february they are the sickest bindings ever i dont know what the hold up is with you guys in the u.s but i hope they come soon for ya

Just talked to the rep last night. 800 pair were shipped to stores this week and another 2200 going out late next week or early the week after.
