Hey I decompiled a video and I want to make a sequence pic but I have on idea how to.... if someone could explain that would be awesome!! Here are the pics just incase anyone wants to show an example..... lol
wow I hadnt noticed the dots... must be the lens.. yeah i will clean that,,, anyway... i have photo shop but wut do i do with it.. again if anybody would like to do teh first one and give me an idea it would be awesome! Thanks
I think he's done a frame grab from a video segment and there is no such thing as dirty sensors in a video cam (at least not that we can ever clean!)
The only SLR capable of enough Frame speed to capture a sequence like that would be either a Canon 1D/1D2 or a Nikon D2H/X and if those shots came from one of those bodies he needs to do more then just clean the sensor! LOL
Anyhow those are probably spots on the lens (the DOF is so extreme on a normal consumer video cam that it will show everything from the lens on out regardless of aperture - which was probably pretty close to not open anyway given the lighting and lack of an ND filter.
Anyway William, in PS pull down the file/automate menu and select photomerge and then select all of your jpegs and let it do it's thing. Sequences from video frame grabs usually come out pretty good (other then the poor image quality) because the background doesn't move enough to cause blending problems.
William, you should really try it yourself, it doesnt get any easier than it is with the photoshop photomerge option. i tried it and did it in less than 5 min. Check it out, it looks cool even though its just a w2w jump.
Ok, I tried it with some other shots I had... not so easy anymore! I think it only works well and easy when the rider is centered, or mostly centered in all the shots. Gonna try it with some I took of my boyfriend.
You'll always get motion blur on video frames - that's how it's designed to work! (unless you crank up the shutter to a 1/1000th or so - but then watch what it does to the video!) Makes the motion look smooth when played back.
Progressive frame grabs from HD when shot at a high shutter speed actually don't look too bad but they are still only around 2 megapixels in resolution.
