My pump is not even a year old and it keeps seizing up. I wouldn't think that it's the brushes because it's so new, the impeller looks fine. Help?

try to lube up the impeller good also don't crank down the 4 screw that hold the top cover on. I leave mine a little loose on one of my pumps that locks up sometimes and that helped.

Try running it the same direction it last ran then reverse so you are not flapping the blades over when they're dry, what I did when I had simers.
