New X-9 63k

My friends at the boat show in Tampa and he told me the new X-9 is $63,000. The X-Star was $73, I think. Is this the going rate in Florida?

$63k for a direct drive slalom boat with a tower?? No way that's right.

Maybe someone at Mastercraft mixed up the pricing of the X-9, and the '06 X-1. That would explain a lot.

'06 X-1, Ballast, Single-Axle Trailer, Mastercraft cruise, $39k.

I picked up a brand new, fully loaded 03 X-9 in the Fall of last year for approximately $40k from a dealer in Houston. Granted, I got a smoking good deal because he was trying to push the older inventory out to make room for 05 models at the time. I love my boat and couldn't be more fortunate, but $60,000+ for it is ridiculous.

I was at a dealer in Michigan looking at an 06 MC - didn't get into specifics/options but was told the sticker was $59,000. As long people are paying it - I suppose it will keep going up (dealer said every one he had so far was spoken for). Eventually, they are going to price themselves out of a lot of the market. The only good news is that older boats seem to holding value well since it is SOOO expensive to upgrade. He told me I could get 3% over retail blue book on my 2001 X-9.
