Does anyone have this boat or know anything about them? Are Moomba's a quality boat? Going to check them out this weekend. Needing some heads up. Thanks

Nice pic Jeff! And it still looks nicer than your Maristar!! I've seen you post that one before. Have a little fun on the computer did we? BTW, where's your tower and speakers? I didn't see them in your profile pic.

Braden- Like Eric said, do a search and you'll find other threads discussing Moombas. I am a Moomba owner and love mine. I'm on my second one and have had no major problems. The Moombas are a nice boat for the price. You will see a difference in fit and finish between a Moomba and a MC or CC or BU. They are still a quality boat without all the bling bling or plushness. They use the same trailers as the others mentioned as well as the same engine, transmission and controls. They use the same materials in their hulls and gelcoats and they come with a lifetime warranty on thier hulls as well. There are differences between a Moomba and the others mentioned and you will see it when you compare the two. And that's why there is a difference in price. It all depends on what you value in a boat and what you are looking for. Compare, test drive and find the dealer that you like and works with you. Good luck in your search and if you need any good owner experiences with Moombas or have any questions do not hesitate to email me.

I would like to echo what Kraig said. I own a 05 Mobius LSV and love the boat. Some of the older moombas were not all that well build. A few years ago Skiers Choice bought the company and have made some great improvements in the boats. I would certainly look at the 06 models because they have drastically changed the LSV (for the better in my opinion). I don't think you can go wrong with any of the newer Moombas IMO. Happy hunting

Patrick- Glad to see another satisfied Moomba owner!! The company now known as Skiers Choice acquired the Moomba name and a mold in 1991 from Australia. Rick Tinker took over the reigns in 1995. The management then bought the company and changed the name to Skiers Choice in 1998. Since Rick took over he and the management have been improving the quality and introducing new products. There has been a steady improvement in Moombas since then and they keep getting better. Rick was one of the head guys over at MC in the 80's and has now brought his talents over to Skiers Choice. He and the management are doing some great things at Skiers Choice.
