Where am i supposed to get lead and what is the best container for lead.

Most wake shops caan get or have bags of lead available.
If your in so cal. PoP Products bags are the best.
Cant be shipped due to the weight involved though

I got 120 lbs of it for free from a tire shop. I melted it down into 40 lb bricks.

You can go to a gun shop. And ask about lead shot for reloading. You can get it in a nice burlap bag and since it is shot and not a brick you will do less damage to your boat. Only carch is they will want you to pay for it.

a friend that works at a tire shop said some tire shops have contracted the disposal of their weights, so you may have to look around.

PoP Products Bags Can be shipped anywhere.
800lbs + is a good shipment weight for value. Bags are 40 lbs each and lay flat.

i went the expensive route....

25 pound bags of lead shot at gander mountain for twenty bucks a pop.

ive got 225 pounds of it stashed and not really losing any storage space for it.
