Bent Racks 03 MC X9

I have an 03 Mastercraft X9 and over the last 2 seasons I have managed to damage 3 of the 4 board racks. I can send them back to MC and get them repaired for a fee, but its a bad design and will probably happen again.Does anyone have any suggestions?? The newer MC racks won't mount.

You just need to make sure that you dont get the rope caught up on the racks b4 taking off, I have an 03 x-2 and just from reading the posts on here I make sure not to make the same mistake as others.

What i did was add a board rack above the MC rack on the drivers side, this should be the side that you turn the most on anyway due to the prop turn. Yes the rope may get caught on that rack but it wont bend and mess-up your other board racks. Not to mention that if you wake surf or ever ride with more than 4 people, now you would have a rack that CAN hold a wakesurf and other boards.

Hey I have an 02 x-9. Have you guys sact yours out yet. I'm a big guy so I need more weight in order to make the wake a little more solid and fly a little higher. I was kind of wanting your thought of the best way. Have you seen that new wedge that you can drop down hydraulically?

Try your dealer...Texas Mastercraft was able to have mine replaired. Good Luck.
