Daryl.. Oh god that thing is out of hand! Looks insane!

You got any kind of finish date set on it or is it more of a working progress? how'd you get those engines to run together?

Here's what they look like, they weren't mounted to the board in the above picture so the output isn't too uniform. Easy cheap project.

Matt yes we make one for the 2002 and earlier x-stars. It is the same exact plate just without the Number 2 inscribed. I will try and have a photo up of one soon. Check out our website at www.fluidaluminum.com

After having read the "How can I make more room in a DD Boat" thread, I decided to see if I could free up some storage in my DD boat. Since I was currently installing a 12" Alpine Type R sub, and having problems finding enough volume (space) under the driver's console in my Moomba to accomodate the bigger sub, I decided to move it to a custom box behind my driver's seat and call it a 'boarding step'. That space is pretty much dead in my boat, so I think it will work out fine. I'm now in the process of designing a custom amp rack under the driver's console for my three amps, so that I can get them out of the storage area behind the observer's seat which should free up quite a bit of storage space.

Here's a couple pics of the finished 'boarding step' sub box.

Nice work on the step Mike, what is the finish?

Chas, good work on the cabinets. Let us know when the store opens.

Mikeski... That boarding step was shot with LineX. Great finish for a marine environment.
