I am going to build a waketower for my 1997 bayliner capri. Does anyone have any ideas or dimmensions...ect. that would be helpful. I know this boat is not very popular for a tower but I guess theres a first for everything(LOL).

Thanks for any info.

Robert,
There is alot to it but it can be fun and you can save alot of money doing it yourself. The links the others have posted are good. I built mine along with tower speakers. You can see a pic at

Yesterday I moved the speakers to the top of the tower to make room for a bimini we plan to get over the winter. After reading the above attachments - if you still have questions - just ask here or e-mail me direct.

Robert unless you can do the welding yourself you won't save any money building your own tower. It's a huge pain, I'll never do it again. By a Monster tower, what are they like 1000 bucks? If you pay someone to do the welding there is no way you can come in under that price. Plus you save yourself a lot of headaches.
