I have a Nikon N80 and I recently replaced the batteries. The camera has not been used for like 2 or 3 years. There is film in it that I am sure it has been in there for like 2 years. I am going on a trip to DC this weekend and would like to bring it with me. Anyone know why the error has popped up? I have briefly searched google and nothing really comes up. Thanks for the help.

The camera might think there is no film in the camera and the E is for empty. I think the F5 I have displays an E when there is no film in it. Try taking the film out and then pull the battery and replace it.
