I have never ridden a liquid force board before yesterday. Let me tell you that it was a great experince. I currently ride a 07 138 Murray and thought it was the best thing ever. Don't get me wrong the board is super fun to ride but everyone rides different. I think my riding has evoled away from the murray being a little slow and riding high on top of the water. I rode a 139 Lyman and it felt awesome. The board had great tracking but broke free when you needed it to. I usually feel way uncomfortable on a new board but had no problem with the Lyman. So as of today I am officially switching over to Liquid Force from Hyperlite. I was considering trying to demo the shane before I make a final descision. Has anyone ridden the Shane? If so what are your thoughts on it. Thanks If anyone is interested I will be selling my set up to compensate for the new purchase I am about to make.
Setup is 07 Murray with 08 Reliks size 12. Reliks are new only been ridden twice and have not been molded yet. 100 for the board 150 for bindings. 250 for both.
cant go wrong with the 139 lyman :] Great board. one of my all time favorites. glad to see your moving from hyperlite over to LF you wont be dissapointed.
you might also want to look at the watson. its really stiff but when you take the center fin out its kind of like the lyman. if your more of a flats person you will like the lyman more. if your more wake to wake. you will like the watson more
if possible look at the 08 transcend platty, 08 byerly monarch, and 08 murray. all three boards that were highly recommended to me by posters here on wakeworld
...that board is a rocket ship for sure! and there is something to be said for the 4 fin set up of liquid force...super bite on edge super loose when not but with traction...like the fins just slide over the water so the slide isn't out of control.
