So I'm trying to put 09 Shanes on an O'brien Local. I knew that the bindings had a 6 in. pattern and the board had was 8 in., but I failed to realize that the board only had 3 holes on each side instead of 4. Since it only has 3 holes on each side, the bindings don't fit at all. What is the best way about getting these adapters? Paying what you pay for bindings, why don't they just include them instead of making you pay an extra $15 (plus $8 shipping) for them? I realize that it was my mistake but it is kind of frustrating.
The 09 O'brien board has a 6" stance just like liquid force boards and boots. The 3 hole pattern is 6 inches apart, not 8". Your boots should fit. And Stew, your 7" plate will fit too, but the widest stance will be 1/2" narrower.
Tried everything, but as with craig the board is 08, with the old style 8" plate they fit, but the 7" plate won't fit, the 3 holes seem to have slightly bigger spacing between them than the 3 hole pattern of LF.
The boots don't line up at all. The board has an 8 in pattern with only 3 settings for each binding. I think since there are only 3 and not the usual 4, things don't line up at all.
