Has anyone out there any experience (and pics) putting a tower on a 16-foot-bowrider (or smaller) outboard boat? Feedbacks with comments on stability, usability, make and prices are very wellcome. Thanks in advance.

Thanks Rob.B, good idea, they have a lot of pics... any neutral feedback here in the Discussion Board is still apreciated.

There's a pic of a 16' Sidewinder w/ a Tower on Monstertower. I have the same boat with a 115hp Merc and a 17" vs. 19" pitch prop for more hole shot. I can't really imagine it with a tower b/c I can pull it around now (I'm 6'3" 235 lbs), never mind changing the centre of gravity. I'm waiting to upgrade my boat prior to spending the time, effort and money to install a tower only to outgrow it in a couple seasons. That being said, if you're a smaller build it might work out alright for you. What kind of boat are you putting it on?

I have see lots of smaller 18-17-16 foot boats with monster towers at our lake. People seem to be very happy with it. A friend has the monster tower on a 18foot boat and he says it is solid. It is also very easy to fold the tower down. I think it is the best after market tower for the price. You cannot go wrong.

It's a Nordic 1610, 16 foot long, 75" wide and 1450 lbs ready to run. Pro wakeskaters love this boat. We usally run with 4 people, 150 lbs in the bow, 200 lbs in the midship, the engine is little less than 400 lbs.

Andy, we put a Monster MT1 on a 16 footer this summer. After looking at several options it was the best fit for that size boat. Customer loved it. Be sure to use a reinforced back plate on the inside before you crank down on the mount nuts.

You did me a great favor with your feedback. Now I know for sure that my baby will handle a tower. Congrats to your buddy on the skate. Once more we see what's possible even with smallest boats. Take care and have fun!
And here one cool thing only outboarders can do...
