So today i drove around for 3 hours with my boat trying to find a place to ride went to 3 different lakes all closed due to high water... Nothing like to much water so u have to go find water.

But you all fail to realize that the high water is the result of Tropical Storm Faye, which is still a major problem from all the flooding it has caused.
The walkways at Cranes Roost were still covered by water up until last sunday, all from Faye as well and she hit a little over a month ago .

Matt - cruise on over to Lake Weir, it's really not that far from you. Several of us will be out there tomorrow.

Phantom about round where do u live? We tried to put in at both Lake Orienta and Prairie Lake today... Yah been to lake Weir before but we were looking for some place a lil closer plus i know a couple of people that live on the above mentioned lakes... guess its back to the mt. dora chain we've been going on the ochalacala river (I'm not spelling that thing right but u get the picture) its just we were down in Altamote for awhile so we just called it a day

Just a thought can you call someone before you leave your house? Like the DNR to ask if the lake is open? At least you live somewhere where the weather isn't 60 degrees or colder already and you have a nice boat!

Yah u would think that they woulda said something about the lake being closed lol my friends r dumb
