the wake is huge, it much bigger than my best friends bu 247 v, the new ballast system works great im 215 lbs and it surfs awsome with no rope or any additional bags, and no more than 4 people in boat ...the 409 hp motor hold speed perfect even in rough water.

No, I am not saying that one is better than the other. Too often you find ppl on here that say one thing and never have tried it. $.02

The op is probably not lying. My family is looking into a new boat so tested an 08 x2, 08 bu vlx and the 09 tige22ve. The tige easily held its own with the wake being just as good as the others for both wakeboard and surf. it also handled far better than the others aswell. the interior and sound system (all wetsounds) was amazing. and also the fact that ir rode much higher out of the water was a huge plus. was honestly amazed by tige, and never would have thought they were up in the top 3 (malibu and mc being the others)

Shawn,

The dealer in Seattle is having a Tige Reunion and Charlie Pigeon (CEO of Tige)and Ben Pigeon are heading up that way from Texas. They are currently outside Los Angeles, CA with a 2009 RZ2 taking questions and answering them on their way north.

just a quick thought. all of these boat companies have pro wakeboard teams with all of the best riders in the world. They pull pro events that all the these riders land the same tricks behind each boat. That being said. How can any of them have a bad wake?

Alot of people get on this site and give an amateurs opinion of a wake they can't even handle. Others are valid in their points.

Sorry for the soap box, but I think a sacked out anything is going to have a serious wake beyond the capabilities of 90% of all wakeboarders anyway. PERIOD.

the only reason i wrote that about the malibu is becouse i have been surfing all summer behind the 247bu while i was waiting on the tige rz4 and now i have been surfing behind the rz4 with same boards with less people and it is just plain better... thats why i went with the tige. plus when someone falls u can turn around so easy without the wedge plowing the water.. plus without the wedge the tige is only turning 2000 rpms while the bu is around 3500, the gas millage is twice as good and the wake is better...
