This boat is right by my work. I called last week and they said they wanted 15,000 for it. I;ve been kicking around buying it all weekend. Any thoughts?

Could end up being an electrical nightmare in a year or so. There is nothing worse than electrical issues on a boat...you can spend hours and hours just tryign to isolate problmes, IMO not worth it.

Man that seems like a good deal, espically if you could talk them down a bit. Not sure id pay 15k but 8k or 9k would be a steal IMO.

I actually saw that pic before i saw the boat for sale. I was just thinking if i could get it for like 10k it shouldn't be that hard of a fix and might actually be a good buy. The way i heard the story is it took like 4 hours for it to sink and it was stuck on that sand bar by tower park.

I wondered what would happen to this boat! I saw it at Delta Sport Boats just after it sank i guess. Jody said it was probably going to be a total but wasn't sure as they weren't done estimating yet.

You couldn't pay me to take that boat, a white and purple sanger with some gay ass box, wtf, look how far under water that heap is. why would you even consider that nightmare, that boat wasn't even cool before it sank.

Its funny to see the title "Eargasim" Shawns Eargasim (the one most of us know)still lives. This Eargasim is the ORIGNAL. Pete named his boat Eargasim some 3-maby 4 years ago Pete's orignal Sanger was called "Ear Dammage".

It's sad to see Eargasim sank. That boat has see it's day's of crazy party's. Im sure Pete will rise up and we will see a new party Machine soon.
RIP the orignal "Eargasim" at least now Shawns boat is the only Eargasim I know of.

OUR SERVICE DEPARTMENT CAN WORK ON ANYTHING THAT NEEDS TO BE FIXED, BUT IT IS A SEPARATE CHARGE.

Why wouldn't they just fix it themselves and then sell it? Sound's like they should rename it

"CAN OF WORMS"

shredhead,
very good point. i didn't actually think of that. if its such an easy fix why don't they just do it and make the money off of it. I decided to pass on it. I think i'm just going to buy a new boat this winter. Thanks for the input

My guess would be they are having a hard enough time selling the boats they have (due to the economy, not trying to bash) so why would they want to put a bunch of man hours into it when it will just sit on the lot like the stock they already have unless they have a shop full of people just standing around doing nothing.
