I have been looing for a boat for a long time now but haven't been comfortable to be able to afford one...however I think I may have found a great deal.

So what would you pay for a 1998 Ski Centurion Elite V. No Tower, No ballast or PP. Assuming it is in good shape and all checks out?

Also, how is the wake on this boat?

That sounds like a good deal. How many hours are on the boat and I would see if it has been in salt water. You can add a tower ballest and pp later when you can afford it.

I think that just about any functional v-drive is worth $15K, but now that the economy is what it is that might not hold true, but it is still very difficult to find a v-drive for under $15K.

At any rate, if the boat is in decent condition, that is a steal at $9k! A super steal if it has EFI. Probably worth it even if it needed a little TLC at that price. You can add tower for $1-2K, PP for $1K, and balast bags are nothing and can automate as budget permits and will have a great wake boat for about $12K. If you pass on this, I have a buddy that may snatch this one up.

Oh if you get the boat, I removed the floor in my Eclipse and put a bag in the center balast area and ran a hose with a shut off to the bilge area to fill and drain. I kept the center bag full pretty much all the time unless I needed to trailer long distance.
