closed toe sizing question

I was wondering if i should get a size 11-12 or 12-13 boot for my size 12 feet. Ive heard to try and go as small as possible so that you can't get any momentum to break your toes in the boot( I know this is a myth but I am still slightly worried about it.) But at the same time I'm worried the 11-12 might be a little tight and uncomfortable. Thanks for any help.

I wear a size 12-13 shoe and got the LF Shane's 11-12. They fit perfectly. Hope this helps. I am sure it is a little different by company.

on the other hand i wear a 12-13 so tried the xl but could not fit my foot in so had to go with the xxl. still a very comfy binding no toe jam problem even though the size up. (Bindings are 07 murrays)

I was debating this when i got my slingshot D2 boots. I am a size 10.5 and wasn't sure if id get the 10 or 11.
I finally decided that it'd be easier to make the boots smaller than to make them bigger if i really had to. at the moment of purchase i thought to myself that i could put in some foam of some kind in the toe box if there was too much room.

not long ago i decided i wanted a little less room in the toe box and cut up some old LF Ultra Sucks foot beds and put them inside the boots under-neath the removable liners.





Sooo... maybe you can do something similar if necissary... i don't know. I am probably one of the only guys who have done this?
