How many lakes are in the area that are good for wakeboarding.

there are like 5-7 places to ride around that little Wakeboarding Mecca.

haribandude covered it. If you want to get into the Austin/SA scene its going to be www.360wakeboard.com for Austin and www.texaswakeboarders.com for SA.

if you read in wakeboarding mags top 3 places to ride, you would have seen lake austin as #1. i think the perd is better but that just shows how bad a$$ austin is!

Cool, I lived in Dallas for about 6 years but for the last 8 I have been in Phoenix.

I signed up for 360wakeboard but they still havent approved my account...I'm a little impatient so I came here and asked cause I knew I would get the answer in minutes.

Yeah check out Texaswakeboarders.com too we are going to be holding quite a few events this year. Next weekend we will have Harf and Murray down to do some clinics.

360wakeboard.com is a great site...awesome wake community here...no shortage of places to ride either. don't miss Waketoberfest in October...best party of the year!

You have the whole LCRA system including Lake Austin, LBJ, Marble Falls, Buchanan, Travis, also you can head up the road to lake Georgetown or Lake Belton also there is Lake Granger

But they all suck dont come here

For sure, Waketoberfest was by far the best weekend I have had in a long time! You guys know how to do it up right down there
