I'm looking to get a new prop and planning on going w/ a 14.5x14.25 or somewhere there abouts. What are you guys thoughts or would you reccommend something different. I spoke w/ ACME yesterday and for there 1235 prop (pitch listed above) they wanted 589 + shipping.. That is just ridiculous.. Is any other brand better? Why/why not? What kind of price can i expect to pay?

I can't recommend a prop size, but if you decide to get that prop, get it at http://www.skidim.com/default.asp. $476.00 + shipping. This discount is only available on on-line orders. After you click "buy", type MALIBU in the discount coupon box, & you'll get an instant 10% off. SSSHHHH, don't tell anyone. Call skidim, & ask them which prop to get if you are not sure, they know their stuff. But order on-line for the discount.

Todd @ ACME says go w/ the 14.5x14.25 (#1235)
Eric @ OJ says go w/ the 14.25x14.5 (#475) - due to the 340hp motor but w/ a 325hp go w/ the 14.25x14.0 (#466)

I have the Acme and the OJ, both good props, but I like the hole shot on the Acme better. I have the XStar with the 350 mcx in it.
