hey all i decided to make a new thread for this. i have fins that came with my board. i completley forgot to put em on for the first time i went out. so will the fins help alot?? and how and where do i put em on exactly i dont want to put them in the wrong place.

What board is it? Then we can give you a good answer. Also, there should be fin holes already in the board.

umm they should be hole for the fins in the middle of the tip and tail 2 to be exact. to place the fins put a screw through each hole and line it up with the holes on the fin and have the thin side point towards the middle on the board on each side.

but if the board doesn't feel loose to you i would leave them off

it's all about feel. Some people ride finless and some don' really up to you. ride it both ways and see what you like best. I started riding finless about half way through last season and doubt I go back, unless I change boards anytime soon.
