Wakemark, this is way we run ours, motor is a 350 Chevy with a Mercruiser heat exchanger. The raw water is pumped in via a belt driven impeller pump, through the heat exchanger, then splits into a T piece after the exchanger exit hose and then goes out through both manifolds. What happens to the water once it has gone through the heat exchanger on yours? I'll get photos for you if my explanation isn't clear.
