Mastercraft or correctcraft

I'm going to import either a prostar or a ski nautique would love to get a sport nautique but container sizes have limited my options i'm looking at around the 1996- 1999 years i've been told mastercrafts delaminate as they are all compisite and the correctcraft has woddern stringers which is a better way to go, anyone know if this is correct and what are your opinions on these boats, the purpose of the boat is for wake only and i will be loading it up as much as possible. cheers.

They both have glass stringers in the years you mention, and glass is better than wood anyway as it doesn't rot.
Where are you importing too, and why?

Dave....depends on the wood. In some people's opinions, including mine, wood is better. If done correctly, it wont rot. This subject has been beaten to death. There is a reason $150,000 off shore boats still use wood.

Keep in mind there is a big difference in wakes between a 1996 and 1997+ Nautique. They are ski boats not designed to make big wakes. My 1995 was OK once I doubled the weight allowable on the capacity plate.

These are solid build years for both boats, probably no significant advantages in wakes. If it were me I would ignore the manufacturer debate and buy the nicest boat at the best price. Throw Malibu into the mix while you are at it.
