Thanks guys I'm so stoked! I haven't had a complete new set-up for about six years. I can't wait to ride it, looks like I may get a chance on Saturday but we'll see.

Cool, how does the BOA feel on the calf. I tried those when they first came out & they jacked me up by pushing way too hard on my calf. Shawn, you gonna come up & ride the Nac soon. Boat show this weekend, but we're thinking about hitting it up the following weekend, weather providing.

Stephan - I have only worn the boots sitting on the couch at home, so I'm not quite sure yet, but I did have them on for about an hour without any pain, so that's good. I'm not too sure of when I'll be up there next, although this summer it will probably be my home lake again. My Uncle (which is my main ride) is moving up there to be with the rest of the family, so looks like I'll be doing a lot more driving to ride. Hopefully in the next 6 months to a year I will be able to move back up there also, but who knows. I will keep in touch, and would definitely like to keep that invitation open.

Mango - I decided on that board for a few reasons: 1) Wake Sports and Hyperlite (Greg) have always taken good care of me, so they will always continue to get my business and support. 2) I usually ride continuous rocker boards; they seem to work well for my riding style. But this time I wanted something a little more aggressive without going to a true 3-Stage board. 3) I usually ride Murray's shapes but I'm not to into the whole directional thing. I feel I ride fairly good switch and am not looking for training wheels. 4) I've rode Chad's last board the T.F.D. and liked it a lot but it rode really tight. I like a loose board that is why I bought an extra set of .8 P-wings in case the 1.1 A-wings felt too locked in. I decided on the Byerly’s because: 1) See #1 above. 2) It’s a design that has been proven year after year. 3) The less laces and straps (gimmicks as some would say) the better. 4) They look sweet. P.S. Hyperlite Haters; let the bashing begin. (Message edited by wakestar8878 on February 02, 2005)

You wore the bindings on the couch for an hour!!! That's dedication man. I haven't had problems with my 04 byerly bindings on my calf. I've heard the 05 is just new material. Perhaps people were complaining about the 03s hurting the calf because they redesigned the boa to keep it from breaking.

I'm not a Hyperliter hater by any stretch but... The less laces and straps (gimmicks as some would say) the better. How's the BOA working for you?}

Robyn - I'm sure Eddie will approve, and I'll definitely take you up on that offer. Magellan - Like I said I have yet to ride but as soon as I do I'll let you know. Having the BOA is better than having, the BOA, laces, and a Velcro strap like the Murray's. Although the Murray's were really comfortable, I just couldn't imagine having to go through all that every time I strapped in.

I have 2 pair of Boas. They are the most comfortable boots I've ever had, and also the heaviest. I get by with the weight on the cable but I had to drag out a pair of old LF Pro Sucs the last time I rode behind the boat.
