37FT long and 3FT high aluminum constructed slider kits! What kind of interest is there for these? Trex and barrels not included!

Man, that's gotta be expensive...though I could see a market with the well-to-do lakehouse set. If you post some pricing info, be sure and let us know what it would cost for something similar but it more rideable length. It would tough to put real money into a slider that was only 37' long. We've worked similar ideas for slider kits but with a very different approach to the construction. Best of luck and we'll be watching closely!

I will get pricing out soon.As far as the length goes all you have to do is add more 8FT to the middle. I will be posting more pictures soon. This slider was professionally engineered. The sections bolt and pop rivet together.

How do you situate the barrels underneath?? I'm putting together something similar( no where even close to as nice as yours) and was wondering the best way to float it??......preferably so that it is movable around the lake

I will post some pictures of that also for you. The barrels are held in place by using ratchet straps. I am adding plumbing so you can add water or take out water from the barrels individually with an external 12v water pump. This will help balance the slider.

wow. that is something. hope this works out for you. it looks awesome. why would you need trex? that aluminum will slide fine i would think. you should think about making the top flush with the sides so it could double as a wall ride. $3500 is a lot for a short a-frame. i could see cable parks purchasing some if it was a different design. they need stuff to last. a lot of them kind of take pride in building their own rails though (can be a good or a bad thing).

The slider is made in sections. T make it longer you just have to add more sections to the middle.

I am totally not trying to be an a$$, I just don't see a market for this. Building a rail isn't rocket science and guys that are truly into rail riding don't want a played out design (no offense). We want to build innovative stuff ourselves. Plus the time spent building the rail is 1/4 of the fun. I also don't think the weekend wally who may hit a rail every now and then is going to fork out the cash to buy one of these. Again, not trying to be a dick, just letting you know ONE fairly dedicated rail riders thought on the concept. Other opinions will vary ;)

I appreciate the selective censorship in the above post. So long as we got a "slider kit" thread going (partial hijack)...does anyone have any suggestions of what simple route to go to build a towable/achorable slider using 4 foot wide by 2 foot tall encapsulated foam as the floats? With our rising water levels and team of neighborhood pirates, we've been scoring some near mint condition floats that are drifting by (two eight footers and one six footer).

andy, just build any type of rail with the two 8 footers on the end and then the 6 footer in the middle -- each of them perpendicular to the rail. those floats will provide a ton of bouoyancy and 8 ft wide will be very stable -- talk about an awesome find though -- we only find trash styrofoam at lake of the ozarks

Looks good dyllon I can see communities and private lake groups buying them. And of course there will always be a select group willing to pay the price. I think because of the craftsmanship in the product the price will be easily justified for most individuals interested. Keep in mind most viewers on wakeworld are die hard enthusiasts which in any sport those type will usually try to build their own products first. Which I think can be healthy for a sport. It sounds like you're already doing this, but I would focus my attention around events and promotions with companies and shops. That exposure will attract your individual consumers

I'd have to respectfully disagree with Luker's comment about no weekend wally's not forking over the cash for a slider. This is wakeboarding - how many weekend wally's are forking over $60k for a new boat, nevermind all the accessories to go with it. There will always be a group that is willing to pay for something like this. Looks good, Dyllon.

Counter sunk elevator bolts. Drill bit used to counter sink. Elevator bolts. View of the inside of the slider. Slider with trex installed. water inlets to balance the slider easily.
