Yep, its going to be a long wait, probably the end of march. Billy, It's not silver flake. My 08 was silver flake. This color is not on the Mastercraft charts!

Mike Very cool looking X Star I actually saw it about 2 weeks ago as I was walking the line at the factory with customers. Everyone was blown away at the custom flake color. I've had several flake boats, I gotta give you credit this is a very beautiful and unique color scheme....have fun with it!!! Zane Schwenk

How do you get custom color's? Is it just more cash or do you have to know some one?

I guess as the price of health care goes up, so does Mike's salary! Nice boat man. p.s. not a dig, but droppin' that kind of coin in this economy is quite a luxury. props to ya...

Thanks for the nice comments. Nick..The answer to your question is it takes a little of both. Billy..The color is from meadowbrook industries and it is Ice Blue. Zane, I appreciate the props. I was down at the factory a couple of weeks before that. I was hoping to see some celebs there like yourself, or even better...Will! No such luck though.

Wow, beautiful boat! I vote for a subtle mirror finish X-Star custom graphic. I notice you have the underwater LEDs too. When I clicked on the link I dreaded seeing another butt ugly ghetto looking wrapped thing that you so often see these days. So nice to see somebody with class and good taste.

Graham, could you tint it with the same dark blue that is above the rubrail? It will either look cool or you will think I'm retarded. I'm just curious as to what it'd look like.

If you still want a graphic/decal on the side of the boat see if there is some way of ghosting it on so you barely see it. Or just do an outline with a darker or lighter vinyl that is also flaked.

yep, its still up at boatworks. it will be until spring. I still have to get the stereo hooked up and such. I'm going with 4 pro 80's again, but i'm going to have them painted to match the boat. I also have to change out the interior speaker grills to the ones I have had in my past boats.

That's why I picked the color! I absolutely love that boat. It's not for everybody, but it's fun to get something different each year. Pictures don't do it justice. When you see them in the water they are insane! Mike's is going to look unreal in the water. Those aren't outlets on the back, they are the led's.
