Just watched it and it looked like a TS Roll to Revert if that's correct terminology.

Speaking of this trick, can anyone comment on the difficulty? Seems like it'd be easier than a regular toe backroll, kind of like a crow is easier than a toe frontroll, at least for me...

Holy tantrums! Roddyrod, I don't think it'd be easier than the TS Backroll... However, I've twisted most of the 180 without trying to do so... And I don't do 180's!

I do ts r2r's, I think they are easier than a ts backroll for the same reason that a ts 180 is easier than just a straight ts w2w. the natural rotation opens you up to the boat, cuasing the 180. in that vid, its a r2r, but hes doing the 180 real late and with the front hand crossing his body. I let go with my front hand

High quality in the title...refering(sp?) to the riding or the filming, because although he is better than me, there are also many people better than him. And that filming is by no means high quality.

Rod, In my opinion tantrums are the easiest invert. I was taught a HS backroll as my first invert and a tantrum followed soon afterwards. Whenever I'm helping out my friends, I'll tell them to attempt a tantrum first. Two of my buddies were able to stick one within 10 tries, one of them couldn't even jump the wake toeside. I believe the rotation is just more natural (just like on a trampoline), and mentally it is easier to process and envision.

yes that is a ts r2r and for me it is easier then a straight Ts roll as it stated above ..also ts rolls and r2rs are easy to go early on and ive seen many people including myself case a lot on that trick.. I land a lot of them but sometimes mine look like the one above.i just learned mine last season and have got it semi consistent but still case quit a bit..
