The thing is with a lot of the snowskates there really isn't enuff sidecut for you to carve, and most of them (except for Burton Junkyards) or at least that I know of, don't have metal edges. The other thing is that most of them are too narrow with your feet hanging off, another reason you can't really carve with them. Or I know at least with my primeire Nic Droz skate I can't carve I usually end up pivoting or ("tic tacing" like on a skateboard)when I need to turn. I'd say go for it, I wouldn't do it on ice tho jus cause you might scrape up the bottom of your wakeskate an if you do do it I'd jus take it out to your backyard and see how it goes.
