Yes we added a bar. There was a ton of sway from the factory with no speakers or boards. I had a bad tower. So you might not have any issues. I prefer the classic because I surf more than I wakeboard. And I added the combo racks. As the pro is limited to wakeboard only racks.
PRO 485 are 36 pounds each. And the PRO 80 is 16 pounds each. That is total weight with the clamps.
I have a pair of both on the new tower as you can see, plus the lights etc...loaded with boards etc....it is very solid.
