I found the thread from Grant but has anyone determined if this can really be overridden without the lock pick? Our technicians can't figure it out here and I was wondering if the GM system can be bypassed. I know some other brands can but I have not heard of someone getting the Gm nav to work without the coastal tech pick.

Thanks in advance

Do you mean to program it when driving? You would need to cut the speed sensor wire, and ad a switch to it.

Do some research on GM specific boards and you will find your answer.

Coatal Tech sells the new SUPER lock pick. I just put one in my EXT and my Dads ESU. They work perfict. I orderd and installed the Gen 3 unit and it had some bugg's I up graded to the Super lock pick form Coatsl Tech for $20. Peter was right costal tech's customer support is lousy. So if you order one from it might work perfict with no problems at all. But if you need help in any way your gonna have a long wait. Either order one and corss your fingers or reserch the GM board's I have seen the wire diagram that your talking about
