O.K. I checked the amp and it has two inputs, one for the 1/2 channels and one for the 3/4 channels. When I hooked up the first on my old amp the 3/4 speakers didn't have any sound until I connected an additional cable into the 3/4 input. Is there just a switch or something to tell the amp I only have the one input? This amp is a pretty cheap crunch amp but I don't have a couple grand, or even a few hundred right now, to sink into the system so it will have to do. The 4 page manual is a joke and doesn't give much direction. The amp does have basic speaker wire (high level) inputs that I can just connect the speaker wires from the head unit to. Will this sound o.k. Seems like a pretty cheesy way of hooking the speakers up but if the sound is the same as the audio cable then I'm good. I guess my question is what would you guys suggest. I would like to have the capability to fade so seems like using the high level or some combination of the two, still need to power a couple 6 1/2s in the boat, is my best bet but if it's going to seriously degrade the quality then I can live without the ability to fade between front and back speakers. Basically I have a set of tower speakers that are front/back. Anyway, I appreciate any suggestions. Thanks.
