My girlfriend wanted to know what other girls ride in. She wears a bikini, but doesnt really want to board in that (crashes). Any suggestions?

I wear board shorts over my bikini. I prefer the long ones and not the short ones. I also wear a rash guard usually.

Bikini top and bottom with board shorts over the bottoms. Try to find some board shorts w/o velcro - the velcro snags the material of the bikini. Also, unless she wants to show the whole boat "the girls" remind her to unzip her vest facing away from your riding crew!

My wife hangs out in the bikini but rides in long boardshorts. She doesnt have to worry about the wipeouts, getting up, etc.

I wear long board shorts over my bikini bottoms and then wear a bikini top that doesn't tie around my neck, like the new short tankini. I usually wear a rash guard also.
The long board shorts are a must, you get tired of pulling down the short board shorts and you get tired of pulling up the bikini bottoms.

Board shorts a must. Great advice from Lizrd. Unzip vest facing away from everyone and adjust suit bottoms before taking off your board shorts.

JRod--Har Har Har!! I kinda figured you were just trying to get all the girls at your riding spot to 'jump on the bandwagon' with the new 'trend' !! LOL Thanks! I call it ..."the lookback"  yes..ALWAYS unzip vest AWAY from gawking onlookers on your boat...I know from experience..things SHIFT when riding and pop out of place easily. the boys on the boat don't seem to mind too much though!

I wear a bikini, the bottoms are boyshorts ... less likely to go anywhere, but I also wear boardshorts just in case . Have had the girls pop out as well so definately turn away!

Yep testify sistas! It's amazing...even this little bit I got to work with gets shifted  They guys got a couple free shows before I caught on to turn away and check before unzipping the vest

Bikini with long boardshorts. Then you can just yank em off after you ride and get a killer tan. Get the long boardshorts (I buy guys' because the girl ones they make now are too tight for me, I like em loose) because the short ones ride up your ass when you do tricks. I don't wear a rashguard when I wakeboard, but I do when I wakeskate because we usually don't wear lifejackets to do that (and I have had some experiences crashing on a skate in just a bikini top... it's not just your board that goes skidding away sometimes haha).

I don't know about you guys, but when a girl wakeboards in bikini bottoms and a lifevest, it just doesn't look good for some reason.

Normally i just wear my bikini with long board shorts! but you DO have to make sure you unzip your vest the opposite way of the other boaters because you will give them a lil' show if you dont be careful!

I know what you mean courtney...I've had that happen to me before. Its not a good thing to let people have a show for free...haha I just wear boardshorts and my bikini, just make sure the top is tied very tight and you wont have a problem.

Boardshorts are a must! When I first started riding I didn't think I needed boardshorts, but I crashed so hard I lost my bottoms.
